Hi All, I am planning for Jogja End of December, and I have not booked any Tours or packages as of now. Is it possible if I got there on my own vehicle, and purchase only the entry ticket of the temple early morning after my arrival to Borobudur? Please suggest me as I am unsure about the Tickets booking system of the Borobudur Temple, really do not want to miss the sunrise. Thank you!

Yes, that's fine. You should plan to reach early around 5 AM. Tickets are available in the Manohara hotel. You also get buffet breakfast, complimentary with the ticket.
Do I need to purchase a regular entry ticket for Borobudur as well?
A:
Depending whether your tour covers it. I took a separate Borobudur ticket. You can also take the ticket for a few of the historical sites which is inclusive of Borobudur.
