Parked at one of the public parking lots off of Middle St, $10 for 3hrs and then walked a few blocks to the beach. If you want to see the ocean this is a good spot but I prefer Folly Beach. Full review by 928melissam

It’s our favorite beach as it’s the closest to where we live in Charlotte, and it is great for kids with all the tide pools, and sand bars. It’s pet friendly as well, so overall, it’s hard to beat it… Full review by Joseph R

Coming from historic district on Saturday 7/17 for a few hours and i see pictures of people that rented mopeds and relaxed on the beach…then I’ve seen people say there are a lot of restrictions and no beach chair rentals etc…what’s the best way for us to enjoy a few hours on a quiet beach before lunch?
