Monsoonal moisture coming in from the east will increase the chance of thunderstorms in parts of Southern California.
A weather alert was issued by the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA on Friday at 2:56 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 4 p.m. for Eastern San Gabriel Mountains and Los Angeles.
