The lawyer for the Hawaii anesthesiologist accused of trying to push his wife off a cliff before allegedly bashing her face with a rock says the story is more than it seems. Gerhardt Konig, 46, was charged with second-degree attempted murder following the alleged March 24 attack on his wife, 36-year-old Arielle Konig, in Oahu, Hawaii.

Prosecutors say an anesthesiologist from Maui tried to push his wife off a cliff during a hike on Oahu, then pulled out a syringe filled with an unknown substance when she resisted.
