Hurricane Gabrielle has weakened to a Category 1 storm in the central Atlantic. As of Thursday morning, Gabrielle was producing maximum sustained winds of 85 mph while moving E at 32 mph.

Hurricane Gabrielle to slam the Azores with destructive force, prompting hurricane warning
A Hurricane Warning has been issued for the Azores as Hurricane Gabrielle continues to barrel across the Atlantic.
The National Weather Service is also tracking two other systems in the Atlantic and a hurricane in the Pacific.
At 8 p.m. Tuesday, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Category 4 Hurricane Gabrielle is in the Atlantic Ocean, 445 miles east-northeast of Bermuda and 1,710 miles west of the Azores. Packing maximum sustained winds of 130 mph, the hurricane is tracking to the east-northeast at 20 mph.
