Colorado police are responding to what they called an attack at Boulder's Pearl Street Mall that left multiple people injured.

State and local law enforcement from Boulder, Colorado, and the FBI are responding to a Sunday afternoon incident that left multiple people with burns near the site of a demonstration calling for the release of Hamas-held hostages in Gaza.

Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn had reason to believe a Sunday afternoon attack on the Pearl Street Mall was terror. At 1:26 p.m., a man had thrown Molotov cocktails at a group walking to raise awareness of Israeli hostages being held by the terrorist group Hamas.
