Tens of thousands of Newcastle United fans are expected to line the city's streets later to celebrate the club's historic Carabao Cup win. The Magpies' secured their first silverware since the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1969, and the club's first domestic trophy for 70 years, by beating Liverpool at Wembley two weeks ago.

Newcastle City Council have confirmed the trophy parade will take place between 4pm and 6pm today, Saturday, March 29, 2025. The route is less than two miles, starting at St James’ Park and finishing at Town Moor, which is hosting an event which begins at 1.30pm.
