Top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka staved off an upset bid by resurgent Emma Raducanu at Wimbledon by beating the home favorite 7-6 (6), 6-4 in the third-round at a raucous Centre Court.

The world No. 1 responded to adversity and a partisan crowd to come through against Raducanu in straight sets.

Emma Raducanu raised concerns when she took a tumble on Centre Court during a crucial rally against Aryna Sabalenka. The British No. 1 saved seven set points to draw level with the top seed at 5-5 but slipped in the service box while chasing down a ball on Sabalenka's serve.
