Panthers GM Dan Morgan was happy to get his guys, Nic Scourton and Princely Umanmielen, on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL draft.

After telling reporters that the fifth-year option on left tackle Ikem Ekwonu will be exercised, Morgan turned his focus to the right side with Taylor Moton. He was asked if he and the front office are secure with extending the 30-year-old hog molly.

The Panthers set an NFL record for points allowed in a single season last year, but they didn't add a defensive piece with their top pick in this year's draft.
