Sunday will feature much nicer weather across Southeast Texas with low humidity, sunshine, and breezy conditions.

The historic 40-day strike at the Hilton Americas-Houston is over after workers ratified a new contract with a $20 minimum wage last week. It was their union's first strike, and the first modern-day hotel workers' strike in Texas, a state where unions are rare and labor strikes are rarer still.

Another thing to watch will be the chance that a lightning strike could start a fire in the driest, most vulnerable areas. Areas north and east of Houston are in a level 1 risk of severe weather. Isolated small hail and strong winds are possible with storms in these areas.

The offensive line remains the biggest question mark for the Houston Texans entering Week 7, but it is trending upward.
