The Cougars have always been one of college basketball's most dangerous teams to face because of how hard they play on the defensive end of the floor, and a viral video from one of their recent practices only backed that up.
The UH men's basketball team is in the Final Four for the seventh time and is seeking the program's first national championship. The Cougars take a 17-game winning streak into Saturday's semifinal against Duke at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
No. 1 seed Houston is headed to the Final Four for the second time in the past five seasons after imposing its will on No. 2 seed Tennessee for a 69-50 win in the Elite Eight on Sunday. The Cougars used a masterful defensive effort to build a 22-point first half lead and then held on late for their 17th consecutive victory.
