A coroner has reached a conclusion after hearing evidence from Jay Slater's friends a year after he vanished in Tenerife following a night of partying, sparking a month-long search

Jay Slater’s death after falling more than 80ft down a ravine was an accident, a coroner has ruled. The 19-year-old suffered skull fractures and brain trauma in the fall following a three-and-a-half-hour walk through mountains in Tenerife last July.
