Vice President JD Vance lashed out at “Pod Save America" co-host Jon Favreau in a heated exchange on social media platform X.

Vice President JD Vance laid blame on California Gov. Gavin Newsom and other Democrats for their anti-Donald Trump immigration rhetoric after one detainee was killed and two were injured in a shooting Wednesday at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas.

Vice President JD Vance called on everyone, especially Democrats, to tone down violent rhetoric in politics, specifically against law enforcement.

Vice President JD Vance has urged Democrats to "stop telling your supporters that everybody who disagrees with you is a Nazi" if they want to end political violence in the United States. Newsweek contacted Vance's office for comment via email outside of regular office hours.
