The season openers between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens-Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers are among the most intriguing matchups to launch the 2025 NFL campaign.

Like everything in life, there were winners and there were losers during the NFL's schedule release on Wednesday. Tyler Sullivan sifted through all 272 games on the schedule to try and figure out who came out of the schedule release as a winner and who came out as a loser, and here's what he came up with:

According to a recent schedule leak, the Steelers will travel to face the Detroit Lions in Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season.

Elsewhere on the slate, the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Detroit Lions in Week 14 could prove to be a strong matchup. Fans will also get to enjoy J.J. McCarthy and his Minnesota Vikings taking on his former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8.
