Predators reassign Gravel, Del Gaizo to Milwaukee Admirals
Nashville Predators General Manager Barry Trotz announced Friday, Dec. 20 that, following last night’s game, the team has reassigned defensemen Marc Del Gaizo and Kevin Gravel to Milwaukee.
Predators' Marc Del Gaizo: Sent to AHL
Del Gaizo appeared in the Predators ' last five games, racking up 12 hits, five blocked shots and a plus-1 rating while averaging 16:40 of ice time. It wouldn't be surprising to see him rejoin Nashville at some point, but Friday's move could signal that Roman Josi (lower body) or Justin Barron (recently traded) will be able to play soon.

Per a report from Sportsnet NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Nashville Predators placed defenseman Marc Del Gaizo on waivers Wednesday. Presumably, Nashville intends for Del Gaizo to be assigned to the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals after he clears waivers.
