UNC is hosting its second straight Super Regional, beating West Virginia (which won the Tucson Regional) 2-0 last June. The Tar Heels won the ACC Conference Tournament title this season and entered the NCAA Tournament ranked No. 1 by D1Baseball.com.

UTSA, like Murray State, is a team nobody wants to face right now. The Roadrunners earned their first NCAA bid since 2013 and beat the big-brother Longhorns on back-to-back days to make their first super regional. UTSA entered the season 6-26 all-time against the Longhorns but went 3-0 against them this season.

The Anteaters strand 10 base runners in a 4-2 loss Friday night and will square off with Fresno State in an elimination game on Saturday at noon at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
