Justin Fields and the New York Jets' passing offense struggled against the Giants. Fields, who signed a two-year, $40 million deal to replace Aaron Rodgers, completed just one of five passes for 4 yards in the Jets' 31-12 preseason loss Saturday night.

Veteran EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux had some fantastic battles with Jets tackles Armand Membou and Olu Fashanu. Starting quarterback Justin Fields was occasionally flushed from the pocket by Thibodeaux, Abdul Carter, and Brian Burns. Thibodeaux was recently asked his opinion on Fields. He fired a stray shot at both Fields and the Jets' offensive line.
