The veteran Rodgers seems more than willing to take Howard under his wing this year. Aaron Rodgers is starting the next, likely last chapter of his NFL journey this year with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran signal-caller is attending his first training camp with his new team, and so far, seems to be liking what he is seeing.
The Steelers drafted him in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin. Many teams wanted Herbig to flip to inside linebacker, citing his size as an issue, but the Steelers saw his explosiveness and bend and kept him at outside linebacker. Now, they are reaping the benefits of that projection.
The Pittsburgh Steelers collapsed at the end of last season, and this year they have a revamped roster looking to make a deep run through the playoffs.
