Fifteen months after his death, Keith finally got there. Keith’s Dream Walkin’ Farms co-owns Render Judgment, who will run out of the No. 15 post Saturday, May 3, in the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby. The bay colt, trained by Kenny McPeek and ridden by Julien Leparoux, has 12-1 odds to win the annual Run for the Roses.

The late singer was the owner of Dream Walkin Farms, which partnered with other stables to train horses. Keith had a dream to get one of those horses into the Kentucky Derby, which will be achieved on Saturday when Render Judgment takes the track in Lexington.
