Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey has ordered inspections of all state-run emergency shelters in response to the recent arrest of an undocumented migrant who was living at a Revere shelter site. The man is accused by authorities of crimes including illegal possession of an AR-15 and fentanyl trafficking.

Healey’s order followed the arrest late last month of an undocumented immigrant from the Dominican Republic. Revere police said they seized an assault rifle and roughly 10 pounds of fentanyl.

The December arrest of 28-year-old Leonardo Andujar Sanchez was announced last week by the Revere Police Department, which said its officers and the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department recovered an estimated $1 million worth of fentanyl and "a loaded AR-15 with ammo" from a room at the Quality Inn in Revere.
