The ongoing search for missing 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro continued on Sunday, as authorities conducted an operation off the side of the 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley. It's unclear exactly why San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies were drawn to the area.

Emmanuel Haro was reported missing Aug. 14 by his mother, Rebecca Haro. She allegedly told police she had been attacked by a person who then kidnapped Emmanuel outside a store in Yucaipa, Calif., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.

Officials in San Bernardino on Wednesday said investigators followed up on reports of a possible sighting of Emmanuel Haro in Kern County, but he remains missing.
