Police in San Francisco shot and killed a man early Friday morning near Union Square who was wanted for hitting two pedestrians and a man on an electric scooter with a vehicle hours earlier.

An armed man believed to have worked as a security guard at the Dior Boutique in San Francisco’s Union Square was shot and killed by police early Friday morning after allegedly being responsible for multiple hit-and-runs in the area, officials said.
