Shares of Tesla dropped by 14.2% as the market closed Thursday, the electric vehicle company’s 11th-worst day on the market ever. At one point in Thursday’s back-and-forth, Trump threatened the federal contracts that funnel billions toward Musk’s companies.

Musk has called to “kill” Trump’s policy bill, criticizing the legislation as “massive, outrageous” and “pork-filled.”

Asian shares slipped on Friday as investors hunkered down for the all-important U.S. payrolls report, while Tesla suffered huge losses on the very public feud between President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.
