N ext week, the United States Women's National Team will return to Kansas City for the first time since 2023. And for the first time, it will play at CPKC Stadium.
With four countries hosting the 2031 Women's World Cup, the sport can be boosted into a higher orbit in the United States and throughout the world.
ESPN recently ranked the best teenagers playing in the National Women's Soccer League and the 19-year-old Hutton took the top spot. Labeling her a "brave, two-way midfielder," the 21-player rankings put together by ESPN writer Jeff Kassouf notes fans should be "ready to see her (Hutton) at the 2027 World Cup and beyond for the USWNT."
