An apparent murder-suicide is under investigation in West Sacramento Wednesday morning, police say. West Sacramento police say officers responded near F Street and Jefferson Boulevard to investigate a report of shots fired.

Two people died Wednesday morning after a murder-suicide, the West Sacramento Police Department said. Police at 9:29 a.m. first reported that its officers were out investigating at F Street and Jefferson Boulevard but did not release details as to what the investigation was about.
