After One Million Moms started a petition against 'Wicked' for "pushing the LGBTQ agenda on families," Kristin Chenoweth defended the movie musical.

Kristin Chenoweth, who played Glinda in Wicked on Broadway, has defended the new movie after the One Million Moms group called for a boycott of the film over its gay storylines. The conservative group is asking parents to pledge to not see Jon M Chu’s mega-hit movie musical due to it “pushing the LGBTQ agenda on families, particularly children”.

All the while, it would appear that the Wizard of Oz prequel has drawn the ire of the advocacy group One Million Moms, and actress Kristin Chenoweth didn’t hold back after finding out about the backlash.

Last week, Kristin fiercely defended Chu’s Wicked after the group “One Million Moms” accused it of “pushing an LGBTQ agenda” onto children and attempting to “normalize same-sex crushes.” The group wrote online,
