‘Vice Squad,’ ‘The Young and the Restless’ actor dies at 77
Gerald “Wings” Hauser, a prolific character actor who appeared in more than 100 film and television productions, has died at the age of 77. Hauser’s wife announced her husband’s death in an Instagram post Wednesday, March 19. Variety reported the actor died of natural causes.
Wings Hauser, who played the part of Greg Foster on The Young and the Restless from 1977 to 1981, and, again, in 2010, died on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Santa Monica after a long battle with COPD.
