Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched a four-hitter for his second consecutive complete game, the first in the World Series since 2015, and the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1 on Saturday night to tie their best-of-seven matchup at one game apiece.

Only two of Toronto's hitters had ever faced the Dodgers' ace, who stymied the Blue Jays with his arsenal and delivery.

Yamamoto went the distance for a second straight start, twirling nine innings of one-run ball on 105 pitches as the Dodgers evened the World Series at a game apiece with a 5-1 win over the Blue Jays on Saturday night at Rogers Centre.
