Banbury Rugby Union Football Club (RUFC) was founded on 10 September 1925 at a bank house in the town, and is one of Oxfordshire's oldest.
Peter Mitchell, partner with Banbury-based chartered surveyors White Mitchell, said: "The use for sport will be retained as will, presumably, the rugby club.
By then, tries from Jed Boyle (2), Carl Daniels, Brett Richmond, his first for the club, and Joe Mills had built on the efforts of Chris Phillips and Deegan to put Banbury out of sight.
