In one crash, two people were killed and a child injured, police said. Speed was a factor, and the crash remained under investigation.

Jorge Everardo Preciado, 28, was taken into custody following the crash on suspicion of felony child endangerment.

The victims have not yet been identified by police. But the music director of the Armenian Memorial Church just down the street told WBZ-TV that the two people who died were an aunt and nephew headed to the church after a family funeral. Watertown is just to the west of Boston.
