(WIFR) - Gov. JB Pritzker and Attorney General Kwame Raoul will hold a news conference Monday afternoon responding to President Donald Trump’s threat to deploy National Guard troops to Chicago. State leaders are expected to detail how they plan to push back against Trump’s plan.

President Donald Trump appeared to waver Monday on whether he would attempt to deploy National Guard troops to Chicago, saying Gov. JB Pritzker should be asking for the help — a request the second-term Democrat has made clear isn’t forthcoming.
