Serena Williams is back on the WTA Tour for the first time since the 2022 US Open. Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, said she was "evolving" away from tennis after losing to Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round of the 2022 US Open.

The Canadian athlete is playing with the 23-time Grand Slam champion this week in the doubles portion of the HSBC Championships.

Victoria Mboko and Emma Navarro will collide in the final of the Strasbourg Open on Saturday. Navarro has found her form again in northern France after a difficult start to the year, but faces her toughest test yet against the talented Mboko.
