New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara races through the Washington Commanders defense on a 29-yard gain from quarterback Jake Haener.
Saints rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler had entered the game on the scoring drive. Rattler took the initial snap on the play and threw a backward pass to Wilson, who found Kamara in the end zone for the score. Wilson, a six-year NFL veteran, had thrown a touchdown pass once before in 2020 with the Dallas Cowboys.

Saints wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. threw his first touchdown pass since 2020, receiving a toss from rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler and then finding running back Alvin Kamara for a 21-yard touchdown on first-and-10 with 5:53 left in the third quarter.
