OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) — Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin officially announced his departure from Oxford to LSU. Ole Miss is expected to promote defensive coordinator Pete Golding to permanent head coach, according to multiple reports.

There’s more than one Kiffin dealing with playoffs in Oxford these days. Oxford, quarterbacked by Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin’s son Knox, is heading to the second round of the Class 7A playoffs after a 42-6 win over Hernando last week.
