Rubella, or “German measles,” is another previously eradicated disease in the U.S. that could see heightened levels of infection if vaccination rates remain the same.

She encouraged wives and mothers to present their children between the ages of nine months and 15 years for vaccination, saying that it is better to treat measles rubella before fatal consequences.
