Democrat Adelita Grijalva won the seat in the U.S. House of Representatives to finish the term of her father, Raul Grijalva, who died in March.

Adelita Grijalva won Arizona’s 7th District seat Tuesday, succeeding her late father and becoming the first Latina to represent the state in Congress.
