Mail could begin moving again in Canada as early as next week after the federal government moved Friday to end a nearly monthlong work stoppage at Canada Post.

Canada Post said on Monday its striking workers will return to work on Tuesday, Dec. 17 after the country's labor relations board ordered an end to the work stoppage. The Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) issued a ruling saying that the two parties were at an impasse and that the postal operations should resume at 8 am local time on Tuesday,
