Dr. Mehmet Oz, the head of the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), has suggested that he supports a reduction in federal funding for those using Medicaid as part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Newsweek has contacted the press office of the CMS via email for comment.
