The Cincinnati Bengals may have granted defensive end Trey Hendrickson permission to seek a trade, but other NFL teams reportedly don't believe last season's sack leader has really been on the market.

"A June 30 deadline to exercise the first of five two-year rolling extensions of the Paycor Stadium lease approaches," Dehner Jr. wrote. "It will be an inflection point for keeping the Bengals on The Banks in downtown Cincinnati."

What's unusual from this report is that the Bengals allegedly haven't engaged with Hendrickson through top names like Duke Tobin, Troy Blackburn, etc. While the big brass indeed handled contracts for Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, it's apparently the second and third levels of the organization working on Hendrickson's situation.
