Residents across the San Francisco Bay Area were jolted awake by a moderate earthquake that was felt widely across the region.
Several aftershocks have struck Berkeley in the same area where a 4.3 earthquake hit early Monday morning, shaking the Bay Area.
The earthquake that rattled the East Bay on Monday originated on the Hayward Fault and prompted questions about an overdue large quake on the fault. Brian Hackney reports.
