President Trump and Vice President Vance blamed Democrats after a shooting at an ICE facility -- as questions remain about the shooter's motive and the intended target.

Federal authorities say the shooting at an ICE detention facility was "targeted violence." And, the White House threatens layoffs if the government shuts down.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott reacted to the fatal shooting at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office in Dallas on Wednesday morning, “it’s horrific.”

Authorities are investigating whether today’s shooter opened fire from a rooftop, as Kirk’s alleged killer is believed to have done. A man who shot at Mr Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last year, also shot from a rooftop. ICE has also been a focal point for anger among Mr Trump’s opponents who object to his massive deportation push.

Multiple people were shot during a shooting at an ICE field office in Dallas on Wednesday morning, a senior Homeland Security official tells CBS News. Texas Department of Transportation cameras near the facility showed a heavy first responder presence with dozens of units. The facility is located at 8101 N. Stemmons Fwy. in Dallas.
