Jennifer Grey recalls a derailed love scene with Patrick Swayze on the set of Red Dawn, sharing candid memories of nerves, weed, and a drunken mishap.

Swayze later apologized to Grey for his behavior on Red Dawn when they crossed paths again during their Dirty Dancing screen test. Grey recalled during an appearance on The View in 2022 that she and Swayze shared an emotional and tearful moment when he apologized in an effort to convince her to star opposite him.
