Connecticut native Mike Burrows of the Pittsburgh Pirates picked up his first career Major League Baseball win as a starter Wednesday night. The Waterford High School graduate threw 5.1 innings, striking out six and allowing five hits to pick up the win 3-0 over the Houston Astros.
