By Aftab Ahmed, Shivam Patel and YP Rajesh NEW DELHI/ISLAMABAD (Reuters) -Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned Pakistan on Monday that New Delhi would target "terrorist hideouts" across the border again if there were new attacks on India and would not be deterred by what he called Islamabad's "nuclear blackmail".

Even under the threat of an all-out war that could spiral into a catastrophic nuclear conflict,  India’s opposition parties—including the Stalinist parliamentary parties—have rallied behind the Modi-led BJP government in the name of “defending the nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address on Operation Sindoor indicated a change in the national security policy and said that strict action against the terrorist acts of Pakistan will now be the new standard.
