SALISBURY, N.C. (WBTV) - A high-tech robot was sent into a Rowan County apartment on Monday while authorities negotiated with a person believed to be armed and in crisis inside.

Investigators identified the account owner as Rowan student Kevin Queen, 22, of Mount Laurel, and officers visited his apartment, authorities said.
