Japan has linked more than 200 cyberattacks over the past five years targeting the country’s national security and high technology data to a Chinese hacking group, MirrorFace

A Chinese hacker group, Mirror Face, conducted 210 cyberattacks on Japanese agencies, including JAXA, from 2019 to 2024.

The attacks, which targeted government agencies, businesses, and individuals, aimed to steal sensitive information on defence, space, and advanced technology.
