Polls open 7am-8pm in 18 communities including Somerville, Fall River, Northampton and Methuen as voters narrow fields for November's general election.

GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, MASSACHUSETTS. Voters in Chicopee, Gardner, Lawrence, Medford, Gloucester, Fall River all have elections today, as do people in some parts of Holyoke, Revere, Salem, Framingham, Methuen, Newburyport, Leominster, Malden and Chelsea.

The city's election practices have been overhauled after several polling locations ran out of ballots during the 2024 presidential election. Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin said he's "very confident" all Boston polling places will have enough ballots for every voter for the preliminary election Tuesday.
