A member of Indivisible Charlotte, which is coordinating the Uptown protest at First Ward Park, said Saturday’s demonstration was expected to draw an even larger crowd than the first No Kings protest in June. Charlotte organizers do not expect a violent demonstration, and said they remain committed to keeping things peaceful.
