Only 68 will remain on the active roster and practice squad after the final preseason game. Laekin Vakalahi will, more than likely, again be carried on Philadelphia's scout team. His entry to the league through the NFL's International Players Pathway Program means he won't count against the Eagles' allowable 16 practice squad players.

The Eagles employed a three-man rotation on the edge at times during the 2024 season. They'll have four to start in 2025, and we'll see if Powell-Ryland can eventually contribute as well. The trade of Bryce Huff allows the Eagles to keep an extra player at another position.

The Philadelphia Eagles opened their training camp on Tuesday by signing veteran defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, further strengthening their depth and competition in the defensive front rotation.
