Hundreds of people have been forced from their homes in Apache County due to the Greer Fire, which has burned 9,500 acres.

Crews in eastern Arizona continue to battle a wind-driven wildfire that has burned over 7,000 acres as of Thursday.

A fire in the small Arizona community of Greer in the eastern part of the state prompted evacuations after it grew to 3,500 acres in one day.
